Six years ago I visited this city for the very first time, and almost moved here immediately after. I loved everything about it - the freezing temperatures, gloomy nights, sipping hot cocoa at Cafe Ogawa, and walking along the Charles River. Needless to say I now live in a city that’s completely the opposite of Boston, but I’m thankful to have opportunities to travel back to the east coast and be reminded of how beautiful winter can be!
In October of 2019, I had the opportunity to travel to Turkey on holiday. As both a landscape and portrait photographer, I had been eyeing Istanbul and Cappadocia for some time, and I finally got the chance to witness these sights with my own two eyes. Here are some highlights from that trip! You can also read about my adventures in Istanbul and Cappadocia to hear more in detail about what I did while I was there.
Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba — there was so much to see while in Jordan that I could barely fit all of it in a matter of days. Scroll through to see highlights from my recent trip to Jordan and the Middle East!
The Mount of Olives, the Garden of Gethsemane, Jerusalem, Bethlehem,…the list goes on and on. I’ve read a lot about these locations in the Bible, but seeing them firsthand was a whole different experience. These are some of the highlights from my Israel and Palestine trip.
Norway has always been my absolute favorite country to visit, mainly because of it’s scenery and it’s weather (yes, I like the cold). These are just some of the highlights from a recent trip to Tromsø!
There really is no place like home.
I try to visit my country once a year. For my December 2018 trip home to Indonesia, I decided to invite actress Ami Park to join me in Bali and explore Nusa Penida. I’d been to Bali several times in the past, but never had a chance to explore this wonderful island. Check out some of the highlights from Bali below!
